Ingredients:

  • Store-bought pizza crust (enough for the desired number of mini calzones)

  • 3 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

  • Melted butter and garlic powder

Equipment:

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the Oven:

  • Preheat your oven according to the instructions on the pizza crust packaging.

  1. Prepare the Pizza Crust:

  • Roll out the store-bought pizza crust on a floured surface to ensure it doesn't stick.

  1. Cut Out Christmas Trees:

  • Use the Christmas tree mold to cut out tree-shaped pieces from the pizza crust. Press down firmly to create clean edges.

  1. Add the Cheese Filling:

  • Sprinkle a generous amount of shredded mozzarella cheese onto one half of each tree-shaped pizza crust. Leave a small border around the edges for sealing.

  1. Fold and Seal:

  • Carefully fold the other half of the pizza crust over the cheese, creating a triangle shape. Press the edges together to seal the calzone, ensuring no cheese escapes during baking.

  1. Bake:

  • Place the mini cheese calzones on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake according to the pizza crust instructions or until golden brown.

  1. Serve and Decorate:

  • Once out of the oven, let the calzones cool for a few minutes before serving. Optionally, you can sprinkle additional shredded mozzarella on top to create a snowy effect and add the melted butter/garlic.

  1. Movie Night: "Home Alone":

  • While enjoying these delightful mini cheese calzones, kick back and watch the holiday classic, "Home Alone." The combination of gooey cheese and Kevin McCallister's antics is sure to make your evening memorable.

Embrace the holiday spirit with these easy-to-make mini cheese calzones shaped like Christmas trees. Perfect for sharing and pairing with a beloved movie, these cheesy delights are a festive addition to any winter gathering or a cozy night in.
