Creating DIY Playdoh Stampers with Good2Grow Toppers

Hello, creative souls!

Today, I've got a whimsical and fun DIY project that combines the charm of Good2Grow character toppers with the playful world of Playdoh. If you're familiar with Good2Grow, you know they're all about combining fun and nutrition, offering a variety of drinks and snacks topped with kids' favorite characters. These toppers are not just adorable, but also perfect for a crafty transformation instead of tossing!

Materials Needed:

  1. Good2Grow Character Toppers: These come in a variety of characters like Mickey Mouse, Minions, and My Little Pony, making them a hit with the kids.

  2. Cardboard Circles: Cut them out to fit the bottom of your toppers.

  3. Hot Glue: To attach the cardboard to the toppers.

  4. Stickers: For added fun and personalization.

  5. Playdoh: The canvas for your stamping adventure.

Steps:

  1. Prepare the Toppers: Start with your collection of Good2Grow toppers. You might already have a bunch from previous snacks or drinks. If not, they're easily available at stores or online.

  2. Cut the Cardboard: Trace the bottom of a topper onto a piece of cardboard and cut out the circle. This will act as the base of your stamper.

  3. Glue the Cardboard: Parents: Attach the cardboard circle to the bottom of the topper using hot glue. Make sure it's securely attached.

  4. Decorate: This is where you can get creative! Add stickers or decorations to the cardboard side of the stamper. These decorations will create fun patterns when stamped into Playdoh.

  5. Let it Dry: Ensure everything is dry and set before moving on to the stamping fun.

  6. Stamp Away: Roll out some Playdoh and press your newly created stampers into it. Watch as the patterns and characters create fun impressions!

Extra Tips:

  • Personalize: Let the kids choose their favorite characters and decorations to make their stampers truly unique.

  • Combine Learning with Play: Use this activity to discuss characters, colors, and patterns, making it both fun and educational.

Not only is this project a great way to upcycle and reuse those cute Good2Grow toppers, but it also provides a creative outlet for kids. It's a perfect activity for a rainy day, a playdate, or just when you're in the mood for some crafty fun. Remember, the key is to enjoy the process and let your imagination run wild!

Happy Crafting! XOXO- Kara
